Ajumma’s is a young fast-casual Korean restaurant established in 2014 and was birthed from our love of hearty food from the markets and streets of Korea. Nothing feeds the soul better than a heartwarming meal cooked with the freshest ingredients by the loving hands of an Ajumma!
What You'll Do:
- Transport goods to various outlets while ensuring timely and safe delivery according to scheduled routes.
- Perform routine checks on the van, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and storage to avoid damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and other required documentation.
- Interact professionally with colleagues, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any delivery-related concerns or issues.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize delays, optimize fuel usage, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly to the supervisor to ensure proper action is taken.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class 3 driver's license.
- Familiarity with navigation systems and local routes.
- Clean driving record.
- At least 1-2 years of experience driving trucks, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items during loading and unloading tasks.
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s road network, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
