Overview:

What You'll Do:
- Check allocated vehicles for their condition and serviceability. Report any discrepancies to the Controllers or Supervisor.
- Check allocated Delivery Orders (DO) and cargo before loading. Ensure that the number of items and type are correct before loading from the warehouse.
- Guide the forklift driver to load the respective loads in accordance with the delivery points based on the route planned.
- Highlight if the laden weight of the vehicle is exceeded with the load.
- Keep within the road speed limit while driving
- Drive safety.
- Ensure proper clearance is observed while reversing or parking at loading bays/ carparks. Use an attendant if available.
- Drivers are not to use their handphones while driving.
- Check the DOs for their respective number of items and type for delivery.
- Assist in arranging the goods according to the customer’s request at the premises.
- After delivery, ensure that the representative counts the items and checks the correct type of goods that are delivered.
- Ensure the representative signs and chop their company’s chop on the DO slip. If no company chop, ask the representative to write his/her name beside the signature column.
- Hand over the TAX Invoice and one DO to the representative and bring back one signed DO to the controllers.
- During the delivery ensure that the goods are not damaged.
- If any goods are damaged during delivery, immediately call the Controllers for further action. Controllers will advise the next course of action and carry out accordingly.
- If cash or cheque is required to be collected, ensure that the cash is counted, and the representative indicates “Cash Paid” on the DO. The cash/cheque is to be placed into the envelope provided. All cash, cheques, and signed DOs are to be handed over to the Controller/ Supervisor upon return.
- Ensure that all goods are properly secured, before driving.
- At all times ensure that your attitude is friendly and handle customers’ feedback seriously by recording their feedback and to be reported to the Controller/ Supervisor upon return.
- Preferably familiar with automotive lubricant deliveries.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Class 4 driving license.
- Preferably with basic computer literacy.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Familiar with Singapore roads.
- Experience in IBC pumping.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good working attitude.
- Must be physically fit.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- High school diploma.
