Role Purpose:
- Responsible for processing any warehouse inventory management and packing tasks are assigned by the supervisor.
- Delivers products, goods and parcels safely and efficient to designated location within set timeframe. Ensures proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorizations if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack warehouse inventory as per training provided such that it is ready for delivery.
- To perform proper management and safe keeping of all inventories; rotate stock in a way that maximizes shelf life of stocked goods and that all stocks are properly accounted and labelled.
- Assist in warehousing and shipping documents
- To check and inspect all incoming goods accurately.
- Assist in cycle count and stock take activities, ensuring the accuracy and traceability of the work performed
- Work in a way that maximize the safety of yourself, colleagues and customers; highlight areas for improvement and welcome feedback
- Improve the processes under your care and work with neighbouring departments to maximize output and minimize effort.
- To understand the full end to end Warehouse processes and demonstrate flexibility in daily activities.
- To support Production where needed.
- Taking the lead on managing On Site Caravan Services, Consignment Count and Top Up, where and when required.
- In addition to your main duties, you may be required to undertake other duties as determined by the Management of the Company.
Requirements:
- Hands-on ERP system experience in processing of warehousing and shipping documents in an industrial warehousing environments.
- Fluency in English is essential; Proficiency in another regional language would be useful. (to be able to liaise with non-English speaking associates).
- Experience in an industrial warehouse environment (indoors non-air conditioned).
- Open to offsite work placement at a project site with a mix of air conditioned, indoor and outdoor activities (from few days up to few months).
- Class 3 / 4 Driving License.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of gaskets, sealing products and/or fragile product handling.
- Offence-free licenses to drive delivery truck and fork lift truck.
- Training in safety and first aid.
- Training in 5S, ISO:9001 or other continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum pass in GCE O or N levels with Math and English
- ITE qualification in logistics, supply-chain or similar
